After all, the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards is airing live Sept. 11 from the UBS Arena in New York, with Megan Thee Stallion taking the stage as the night’s host.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande earned seven nominations with her album eternal sunshine and is tied with Sabrina Carpenter—nominated for the first time at the VMAs—and Megan Thee Stallion. Chappell Roan is also hot to go for the show with her nominations in the Best New Artist and MTV Push Performance of the Year categories.
And please, please, please don’t worry because major celebs are set to perform, too. Shawn Mendes, Lenny Kravitz and more are taking the stage. Katy Perry, who will be honored with the MTV Video Vanguard Award, is also performing a medley of her biggest hits. Along with hosting, Megan is closing out this Hot Girl Summer with her own number.
